What is My Recycling Club?

My Recycling Club is a new curbside recycling collection service launching in Albemarle county. A new division of Cville Concierge LLC, My Recycling Club was created when we heard many residents of Albemarle county express an interest in getting started with home recycling as newbies and still more people seasoned in the practice of home recycling said they wished they could find a way to better organize and finally transport their home recycling to the McIntire Recycling Center.

How often do you collect and what is the cost of the service?

We collect every other week and the cost is $20 per month per household.

Can my Neighborhood Association or a business start a club?

Yes. We work with any entity that is looking for a solution for residential recyling in the Charlottesville/Albemarle area. For additional information, please contact us.

Do I have to purchase recycling bins from you?

No. We do sell recycling bins but you are free to use your own.  The cost for our bins are $50 for a 3 piece set.

What if my neighborhood already has six people signed up? Do I need to start a club or create an account?

If there are already six or more people in your neighborhood, then you just need to add yourself to that club.

What exactly do you collect?

Why is it called a "Club"?

We understand that in many ways home recycling is about giving back to the earth and to your community. In order to get started in My Recycling Club, we ask that you gather a minimum of 6 households within your neighborhood to create ‘Your Recycling Club’ bearing the name of your neighborhood, i.e. Old Trail Recycling Club, Western Ridge Recycling Club, etc.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept personal checks as well as Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express. Cville Concierge LLC will appear on your credit card statement as the payee.
